principal.jpg

Since its foundation in 1859, Howell's School, Denbigh has been at the forefront of education in Wales. With a distinguished tradition and history, Howell's School has continued to thrive and embrace the challenge of preparing our students for life in the 21st century.

Built upon strong traditions and a sound Christian ethos, we provide a framework for every child to feel valued and gain confidence. Children are encouraged to pursue their individual talents and to grow fully as individuals, prepared for the demands of an ever-changing world.

We aim to foster within our students the values of courtesy, sensitivity and responsibility. We set out to engender enthusiasm, a genuine love of learning, good work habits and, most importantly, a sense of achievement.  Howell's prepares its alumni for a challenging and fulfilling life after school.

Our pupils themselves are our best advertisement. After browsing our website, I sincerely hope that you will visit us to experience for yourself the friendly, family atmosphere and sense of purposeful activity, which characterise the School. Howell's is very special to all who learn, live and work here. We would be delighted to welcome you and show you our School.

Children in Need
children in need 002.jpgBy holding a Jump for Pudsey riding competition, a tombola, Name the Teddy and collecting loose copper coins, the school raised £615 for Children in Need. Well done to everybody who took part. The Head Warden, Amy Manifold, led a delegation to pay the cash into a bank in Denbigh.

From three Geography examinations Megan attained an impressive 255 marks out of a possible 260.

Very well done, Megan.
