 The
School and Parents/Carers working in partnership optimises outcomes for the
children. Parental involvement in helping their children learn outside of
school reinforces and enhances the school curriculum and is actively encouraged.
There are formal and informal opportunities throughout the academic year to
discuss with teachers the progress their children are making. This ongoing
dialogue ensures that issues or concerns are identified and dealt with
promptly.
All
parents automatically become members of the Howell's Society (the school parent teacher association),
which supports the whole school community through its activities. All parents are encouraged to participate in the PTA, both at meetings and social and fund raising events throughout the year.
